Buy a book program

The library is introducing a new community-driven reading initiative. Participants are invited to purchase a current book, read it, and then donate it to the library’s New Additions shelf.

*Before purchasing any books, please contact us to confirm whether we already have a copy. Also, let us know which book you plan to buy so we can post it on the board. This will help us avoid receiving multiple copies of the same title. You can reach us at 207-596-0022.

If you particularly enjoyed the book, we will feature it at the top of the shelf with a short, personalized blurb from you explaining why you recommend it.

This is a wonderful way to share great reads and help grow our collection for the benefit of the entire community.
