Join us on Thursdays from 4 pm-7 pm to listen or play with the Keag Jammers, local musicians playing a variety of folk, bluegrass, and other Americana genres.
Many of our loyal group of volunteers head to warmer climes for the winter. We welcome newcomers who have 2-4 hours per month to work with our slimmed-down winter workforce. Contact Pennie Alley at 594-7416, or stop by the library if you can help. We need folks with simple computer skills, or those who want to straighten shelves, run copies, pick up materials at the Post Office, drop off books at our "free shelves" at the town office. If you've got time, we will fill it.
Do you have used books to donate? We are able to accept donations on an appointment basis. The library will continue to use (with the donor's permission) a few used books for sale in our "Book Nook", our annual fundraising event, or to stock our reading shelves at Town Office. If you have good nearly-new books that you think would be a good addition to our circulating collection, please call us at 596-0022 for an appointment to review your possible donations.
